Halo Master Chief Collection

If you're a fan, then you probably already know that the Master Chief Collection has been available for awhile and that it contains REMARKABLE Anniversary Edition Remasters of Halo: CE and Halo 2. In fact, if you're an Achievement Hunter on Xbox, you can even get some points for seeing every level in it's original render AND in it's remastered environment. (You can toggle back and forth very easily.)

#PhotoLumiero | Virtual Game Photography

Piloting an Xbox One S, Lumiero (a photographer irl) has been exploring various virtual game environments with Photography Modes such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed: Origins and AC: Odyssey but, he also skillfully captures images from other games the old fashioned way (Xbox Button + Y).

One of these games is Halo: Combat Evolved. As I mentioned earlier, you can see all 27 photos on SeeJoshsPhotos.com but, I was able to get my hands on a few for you, Culturists? (I'll keep thinking on it...)

#Beautiful\ The 2019 Pin-Up Calendar Selection\ Miss Deadly Red

I've been following models on social media for many years, now. What began as a study of the artform has become so much more for me. In the beginning, any old picture of a woman would do but, over the years my tastes have developed. One might argue, that I've grown more particular about the images I'll like and share.

Now that I understand photography on a much deeper level, I can recognize the "feelings" that linger underneath the images (this works for all forms of art, really) and both a blessing and a curse, I've learned what I don't want to see and/or "feel" from an image. At least, I understand better what I want to create in my own photography.

One of the factors that come into play is what I think of when I look at an image. Much of what I think about comes from the personality of the model. I take into account her philosophies, her message and her intentions. I often find the words that she's tweeted or said rattle around my head while I look at her photos.

Naturally, I find more enjoyment from images by models who exhibit kindess, compassion and work ethic. I like and respect hard working, humble women who aren't afraid to stand for something that may make them "unpopular" such as, sex positive, body positive and higher consciousness.

That said, sometimes the straight male about me just likes what he sees.

Although, I have developed principles after looking at literally billions of beautiful images, I am only a man.

Regardless of the reason, when the end of the year comes around, I begin looking for a new calendar to hang on my wall and a model to give something back to. If I'm being honest, I'm a sucker for clever marketing featuring a pretty woman and decent price. However, I do my best to make a conscious decision about where my support goes.

This year, I was drawn in by a beautiful red head from the UK. I've been following her Instagram for most of the year and was instantly intrigued by her pin-up style. She also works very hard, doing her own hair and make-up.

Here's how it went down

On Saturday, the Texans fell to the Colts in Houston, 21-7.

In Dallas, the Cowboys narrowly escaped with a 24-22 win over the Seahawks.

On Sunday, the Chargers finish the Ravens in Baltimore 23-17.

Defending Champion, Eagles survive the showdown in Chicago, edge the Bears 16-15.

The Divisional Playoffs begin Saturday, January 12 and the matchups look like this

The Colts are away to Kansas City to face the Chiefs.

The Cowboys are in LA against the Rams.

The Chargers go to Foxborough for the Patriots.

The Eagles fly to New Orleans versus the Saints.

What I'm Looking For

As a Raider fan (yea, yea. Let's hear it.) I find the pressure is off a bit but, I still don't have a clear favorite to win it all. It's easy to go with New England but, these dynasties don't last forever and the Chiefs and Cowboys make strong cases for being in the early years of building their own elite Super Bowl caliber squads.

On top of that, the NFL is the best this game has to offer and if you can make it to the Playoffs, you're very much capable of getting a big W in January so, everybody has a shot. I won't bother picking winners, everybody already does that. I will however, pick a few matchups that I'm most excited to watch.

Top of the list in the Division Round is the Chargers and Patriots.

As I mentioned, the Pats may be at the tail end of a dominant run but, Tom Brady just is. Am I right? That said, I am a little excited about what the new Chargers have built with Rivers at QB. They didn't get into the endzone until the Fourth Quarter against Baltimore but, they did get points. I'm not sure that will work in New England but, big games tend to bring out the best in big game players and I think that will happen for the Chargers.

The Playoffs resume on Saturday, January 7 with Colts @ Chiefs on NBC at 1:35pm PST

What is the Our World Cares Initiative? | @OurWorldCares | #advocacy #ourhomeless

Nearly 5 years ago, a Twitter account was created to influence change and foster awareness of the housing crisis in America. By organizing accounts, sharing news stories and injecting positive affirmation, @OurHomeless was a passion project that would grow into service of more than just the US.

Being surrounded by charitable people tends to lend itself to gratitude. And with that gratitude, it becomes impossible to overlook the many causes and foundations around the world doing wonderful things for others.

So, as of August 18, 2018, @OurHomeless is expanding it's focus to a more global advocacy program. While ending homelessness remains a top priority, the new platform allows integration of multiple avenues for people to find, join, support and share their passions for Mental Health Awareness, Veterans Affairs, Life Threatening Illness Prevention and Treatment, Emergency Relief and so much more.

The screen name "Our Homeless" was about taking ownership. The issues that present themselves will not be solved by those who will not acknowledge and accept them. Homelessness is a societal issue, not just somebody else's to deal with.

"Our World Cares" is in the same vein. Living a world of peace, kindness and happiness requires care. It requires much effort and sacrifice and it will not be done for us. We must create that world. This initiative is an affirmation. This is Our World. We want peace, kindness and happiness in the world we live in. That is what we do.

Okay, okay. This isn't a Cup Final, it doesn't clinch the Playoff spot, it's possibly not the greatest goal ever scored in MLS. However, this may be the most amazing EFFORT I've ever seen in MLS, maybe in American Sports.

In case you're unfamiliar, Rooney is a Legendary English Footballer whom, for lack of a better term was deemed "washed up" in the Premier League. Add to that, the stigma of Major League Soccer being perceived a "retirement league" where the world's greatest careers go to end quietly. On top of that, DC United is having one of the worst seasons in MLS.

This video slaps all of that in the face and potentially sets the progressive tone for not only himself and his club but, perhaps the overall perception of American Soccer.

The whole world took notice of this one and rightly so.

Since the beginning, there have been those who disagree and every time something great happens on these shores are quick to dismiss this nation as relevant in World Football. I'm sure they're still out there, maybe even right here.
