#84Bing Search of the Day: polar bears swimming

Bing Search of the Day:
Polar Bears Swimming

It's International #PolarBearDay!

Today, Bing taught me a few Polar Bear facts:

1. The country of Greenland has a Polar Bear on her coat of arms.

2. Polar Bears have been recorded swimming up to 220 miles!

3. A Polar Bears fur is not actually white. It's transparent!

I also found this gallery from ABC News of the Zoo in Moscow:

84places to the San Diego Zoo

I've joined ko-fi.com, a site that allows people to support content creators by buying them a "coffee".

My first goal has been set. It's a Day Pass to the San Diego Zoo! I'd love to go see the Big Cats, the Wolves and the Birds of Prey. Help me get there and I'll take lots of pics and share an #84places travel blog with you, here!

Also, there would be lots of exclusive stuff at the $1Blog on Patreon.

Cheers,
Josh

#84Bing Search of the Day: "propagate succulents" #clubbouquet

Bing Search of The Day:Propagate Succulents

They are some the easiest plants to care for and yet, they're some of the easiest to mess up with overwatering.

That said, I enjoy succulents. They're cheap, thrive in the climate I live in and they look very cool.

Add that to the idea of propagation, the art of growing new plants from cuttings of existing plants, they're essentially, FREE!

(I've also taken an interest in propagating roses. Follow #ClubBouquet to keep an eye on my progress)

I haven't had any initial success with propagation just yet but, I'm having some with growing succulents and roses and I've just introduced a diy greenhouse to my operation. I expect success.

Do you garden?

Cheers,

#84Bing Search of the Day: 7 Wonders

Bing Search of the Day: 7 Wonders of the World

I'm a huge fan of Assassin's Creed: Origins which takes place in Ancient Egypt. If you're not familiar with the the game, it's quite realistic and many of the Ubisoft AC titles have been compared to interactive history lessons, give or take some fantasy, of course.

Thanks in part to that and the Pyramid Code documentary currently airing on Netflix, I've recently taken fascination with the pyramids of Egypt.

Photo from Bing Search

One of my favorite subjects in grade school was World History, Ancient Egypt in particular.

That led me to "wonder", what else is there to see?

It turns out, besides the Great Pyramid of Giza, none of the original Wonders even exist anymore! (The Ancient Greeks made the original list.)

Follow this link to read more about the 7 MODERN Wonders of the World.

In the meantime, here's what I found on the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World on Bing.

What are the seven wonders of the world?

The original seven wonders of the world are seven sites known to the Ancient Greeks as the most notable locales in their known world. They are:

Colossus of Rhodes

Great Pyramid of Giza
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Lighthouse of Alexandria
Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
Statue of Zeus at Olympia

Do you have a favorite? Have you visited any of them?

artscience84.com Moves To New Google Sites

FEBRUARY 2018

artscience84.com Updated

I've recently decided to take advantage of the Google Sites update and moved my content to the new format.

It's only been a few days but, so far, I'm happy with the update. Classic Sites gave a lot of freedom but, it also requires a good bit of coding knowledge in order to utilize it efficiently.

The New Google Sites is much more user friendly. I feel like it has sacrificed some of the control that comes with HTML. and leaves some to be desired.

However, if  coding is not something you have experience in, this update will help you very much.

Check out the new digs at www.artscience84.com
